A couple of months ago I had the privilege of being invited to be a member of the judging panel for the Royal Television Society’s Craft and Design Awards. Alongside some other talented people in the industry, I was lucky to have been able to help choose the nominees and winners from a large selection of wonderful work. It was also especially interesting to judge in the special effects category – separate from digital visual effects – which had some excellent, and fascinating, entries.
